Did you know that the Queen City has its very own burlesque troupe? Now you’re probably thinking, burlesque, isn’t that a show my great grandfather would have attended? Well, it’s possible, if your great-grandfather was one cool-ass dude because burlesque is most definitely alive and kicking in Charlotte. The Flamingo Revue has been wowing crowds for five years and to celebrate the event they are bringing their Greatest Hits show to the Visulite Theatre tonight. If you’re looking for a way to spend your Saturday night, look no further. Come with your crew, come with your significant other, come with your bestie, or come alone. It’s all a big, friendly group and I guarantee a night of fun and games.

Tonight’s show will feature favorite performances and dazzling performances and it’s a night you won’t want to miss. Shutter 16 Magazine was out and about at the Visulite for the last show, The Razzle Dazzle Revival, and let me tell you this group of amazing entertainers brought all the razzle-dazzle that we could handle. Rest assured that The Flamingo Revue is first class all the way and we experienced an evening of top-notch dancing and entertainment along with some light-hearted comedy. It was a phenomenal night with unique performances from a variety of today’s top burlesque performers.
