Me Cansé, single by Renee Goust. One of the most impactful emerging female artists of her
generation, Mexican or otherwise, and this single tells you why. Deeply emotional,
powerful, cutting edge, and simply beautiful. Goust is one of a kind and her music will
inspire you, sometimes anger and amuse you (like her song “Cumbia Feminazi”), but
always mesmerize you. Stream on all major platforms. Spanish.

Live at The Scala Theatre, album by Eric Bibb. Ten grab- your- gut- blues songs by a master.
This is a rare treat that you can close your eyes to and just flow with the harmonica, the guitar,
and his timeless voice.

The songs are new (except for a Leadbelly classic) but feel familiar. I just
love this album. Stream on all major platforms.

Haz, álbum, by La Yegros. I reviewed her single Bodas de Plumas back in January and hinted at
more to come. It’s here and it is a delight. The “Queen of Nu Cumbia” has upped the ante in this
album with her blending of cumbia, traditional folk, and global music in 10 songs that are all
different, but unmistakably La Yegros. She tackles difficult topics, but is so listenable that you
listen. Stream on all major platforms. Spanish.

Nuestra Canción, single by GALE. Rock, ballad, outer space, inner space – they are all here.
GALE brings something different to Latin music. The Puerto Rican singer songwriter has a
classically trained voice and an innate sense of composition. The result is magic and this song
showcases her magic beautifully. Stream on Spotify and major platforms. Spanish.

Rewind Forward EP by Ringo Starr. Good old-fashioned rock and roll – with a bit of a twist.
Pure fun. “Miss Jean” will bring back muscle memories of the glory days of rock and roll. A
must for Starr fans, and fun for everyone else. Keep an eye open April 26 for the digital release
of his new EP, February Sky, produced by the legendary Linda Perry. Stream on all major
platforms.

Metiroso, single by Helen Ochoa. A super talented Mexican-America singer /songwriter with a
huge following hits a home run. Metiroso (liar) moves along with Latin rhythms, the Mexican
tuba, Latin percussion, and lyrical urgency benefiting its title. A blend of Latin dance, Mexican
regional, and just plain fun. Dance or just snap your fingers, you will love it. Stream on Spotify.
