Grammy-Nominated Singer-Songwriter Joan Osborne Heading to Charlotte
Osborne Headlines This Wednesday at Neighborhood Theatre
Singer-songwriter Joan Osborne burst onto the music scene with her 1995 debut album Relish and its hit single “One of Us.” Both became world-side hits and garnered the newcomer seven Grammy nominations cementing Joan as a force to be reckoned with in the industry. Twelve albums and many more nominations later, including a Best Blues Album nomination for her 2013 record Bring it on Home and Osborne is still at the top of her game.
Her most recent release Nobody Owns You is her most personal album ever. Osborne says, “These songs come from my feelings about people in my family, about people who I care about, and just what to do with this time that we have on the earth. They come from a raw emotional place. And I’m asking myself that question: What am I here for?“
The singer will be heading to Charlotte this coming Wednesday, December 6th for a show at the iconic Neighborhood Theatre. This is one you won’t want to miss!
