Get Down and Get Funky with The Moon City Masters and Their Latest Single “Real Thing”
No matter what time we are living in, a good classic never goes out of style. Whether we are talking about a simple black dress or a 1957 Chevy, what’s old is suddenly new again. Such is the case with great music. The classic rock and pop of the seventies are back in a big way and leading the charge of this neo-classical movement is none other than The Moon City Masters.
Twin brothers Jordan and Talor Steinberg were bit by the rock and roll bug early on when their dad took them to a Red Hot Chili Peppers show and the rest as they say is history. Making their mark on the music world with well-crafted songs, beautiful vocal harmonies, catchy pop-rock melodies, and technical wizardry, The Moon City Masters are indeed the complete package. Working with Grammy-nominated producer Justin Craig, their 2019 debut EP The Adventures of the Moon City Masters set things off in the right direction. With a cool California vibe that is infused with a healthy dose of funky soul, The Moon City Masters are not only excellent musicians but also a ton of fun. Their new single “Real Thing” was released today and is a delightful ride with a funky groove that can not be denied. A catchy pop-rock melody is accentuated by exquisite vocal harmonies and hard-rocking guitar work. It’s a fun-filled adventure that just feels good to listen to and makes you want to hear more. In the words of the twins themselves, “When you hear that song on the radio, Your bumpin’ and you start to sing.”
And that’s just what you get when you listen to The Moon City Masters. Everybody needs some fun and if this new song is any indication of more things to come, they are indeed the “Real Thing.”
