In today’s age of autotuned vocals and digital perfection, folk musician Ellie Turner is a true breath of fresh air. Her music, in fact, may just be the opposite of such perfection as Turner embraces the raw, imperfection that makes her songs live and breathe and the result is absolutely breathtaking.

Ellie recently released her debut album When The Trouble’’s All Done and it is like taking a step back in time to a different era where the passion and emotion of the music was front and center. Recorded live to tape, Turner made the conscious decision to keep the tracks real and honest with a stripped-down feel. The result is an outstanding debut with 10 stand-out songs that are the perfectly imperfect representation of everything Ellie Turner.
