Billie Eilish Drops Her Third Single of 2020 “Therefore I Am”

As promised via a series of tweets this week, Billie Eilish dropped her third single of the year today with the release of “Therefore I Am.” The accompanying video was directed by Billie herself and takes place at an empty Glendale Galleria, a shopping mall outside of Los Angeles not far from where Eilish grew up. During the video, the singer/songwriter has a frenzied adventure through the mall as she sings “Damn, you think that you’re the man / I think, therefore, I am.” Dashing past iconic mall haunts like Justice and Lululemon, Eilish stops to snag a pretzel from Wetzel’s Pretzels, a doughnut, and some chips from Chipotle before getting escorted out of the mall by a security guard.

The highly anticipated song follows “No Time to Die,” the title track from the upcoming and much-delayed Bond movie, and “my future” which Eilish performed at the Democratic National Convention. She is scheduled to perform the song live for the first time at the American Music Awards on November 22nd.
