CHARLOTTE, N.C. – There are plenty of organizations that can create an inaugural music festival, but the key is bringing it back around for years to come. Independent music promoter MaxxMusic has announced the second annual Queen City Jam Session, taking place at the Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte, N.C., on Oct. 20-22, 2023.
The lineup includes Leftover Salmon, Anders Osborne, Bully, Maggie Rose, Jack & Adam Lawrence w/ the Charlotte Bluegrass Allstars, Book & Falco playing Jerry Garcia, Shannon Whitworth & Woody Platt, as well as local and regional artists, including Akita, Alright, and Cuzco, with more to be announced.
“With construction continuing at Noda Brewing Company this fall, we didn’t want to delay bringing back Queen City Jam Session for a second year,” MaxxMusic founder Gregg McCraw says. “Last year’s festival was a lot of hard work done by a lot of people and it’s important that we keep the brand alive so we can continue showcasing, not only national artists but local and regional talent, as well.”
Queen City Jam Session will also feature a VIP section with premium viewing and more. Ticket prices range from $25 to $115.
