Walk off the Earth Drop Relatable Anthem “My Stupid Heart”
(New York, NY – January 27, 2023) – Multiple JUNO Award winners Walk off the Earth are back with a relatable new anthem, “My Stupid Heart”, available to stream now on all digital platforms via Golden Carrot Records/The Orchard.
The trailblazing indie-pop group – known for their creative music rollouts and ingenious viral content that have generated nearly 2 million followers and a Billion views on their TikTok and YouTube platforms respectively –– teased the song for weeks leading up to its release that drove a staggering 30k pre-saves in addition to 25k TikTok UGCs and 115 million collective views across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The song follows on from their recent sold out shows at Budweiser Stage and Carnegie Hall as well as their 2022 hit “Bet On Me”, which exploded across Asia hitting #1 on the Western Music chart.
“Our song ‘My Stupid Heart’ is about naively jumping back into a past relationship thinking things will be different this time around,” shares Walk off the Earth. “Your desire is to feel a sense of familiarity and comfort but it’s ripped away as you are quickly reminded why you left the relationship in the first place. We’ve all been there, and we want this song to be an anthem for those that are all too familiar with the feeling of having a stupid heart.”
Walk off the Earth continues to push the envelope. Earlier this year, the band earned their 12th JUNO Award nomination for their collaborative children’s record with Romeo Eats – WOTE lead singers Gianni Luminati and Sarah Blackwood’s 3-year-old son – who made headlines for becoming the youngest nominee in JUNO history. Since 2020, the band have collaborated with the likes of Tyler Shaw, gnash, Phillip Phillips, D-Smoke, and Lukas Graham, released two collaborative children’s albums (Romeo Eats Vol. 1 and Vol. 2), launched an original children’s web series (Romeo Eats), dropped their sixth full-length pop record (Meet You There), and surpassed 1 billion views across their massive YouTube channel.
Based just outside of Toronto, Walk off the Earth gained worldwide attention with their brilliant 5-people-playing-one-guitar interpretation of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” exploded on YouTube, garnering over 192 million views. Since then, the band has released a string of successful original songs including, “I’ll Be There,” “Red Hands” (#1 at AAA), “Fire In My Soul” and “Rule The World” (multi-platinum in Canada); sold-out venues across the globe from Red Rocks to Sydney Opera House to Wembley to Carnegie Hall; and collaborated with some of the biggest artists in the world including Keith Urban, Snoop Dogg, Lukas Graham, gnash, Nicky Romero, and Steve Aoki. Walk off the Earth has sold over 1 million records worldwide and has accumulated over 1.1 billion cumulative YouTube views and 8 million social media followers.

RAE SREMMURD DROPS NEW TRACK “SUCKA OR SOMETHING” ANNOUNCED AS HALFTIME PERFORMER AT THE 2023 NFL PRO BOWL
January 27, 2022 – Clearly intent on making waves in 2023, iconic rap duo Rae Sremmurd releases “Sucka or Something.” via Eardrummer Records/Interscope Records. As usual, the Mississippi brothers employ their dizzying lyricism over innovative production to craft an unforgettable earworm. The track follows their New Year’s release “Torpedo” and is accompanied by a vibrant D.I.Y.-themed music video.
“How you gonna try to play me like a sucka or something?” Swae Lee ponders over a bombastic beat. “How you gonna try to play me when I know what’s up? Feel like I’m 6′ 5″ ’cause the money is up.” Laid-back yet typically larger-than-life, “Sucka or Something” is a reminder that even though the duo has done it all—they still haven’t lost any of their creativity or fire that made them superstars.
The casual ambition of the song is reflected in the dynamic video. The grainy footage showcases the brothers’ performance skills, but it’s an eclectic, collaged concoction that ebbs and flows with the mellow track. The deftly edited imagery conveys Rae Sremmurd’sunique bond and nods at their humble beginnings.
Rae Sremmurd has established themselves as the preeminent melodicists in hip-hop, racking up hit singles from the moment they landed with 2014’s “No Flex Zone.”
The duo’s first two albums, 2015’s SremmLife and the following year’s SremmLife 2, were each certified Platinum, and the latter spawned the group’s first No. 1 hit, the Gucci Mane-assisted “Black Beatles.” SR3MM, from 2018, was groundbreaking in its own way, a triple-disc effort that saw each brother get his own LP’s worth of space to work solo, before tying them back together.
Most recently, Rae Sremmurd was announced as the headliner for this year’s NFL Pro Bowl taking place on February 5th at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The entire 7 minute performance will be televised across ESPN, ABC, and Disney XD. Fans can also catch the duo hitting the Coachella stage this April for the first time in 7 years.

The Lucid and Insane Clown Posse Vocalist Violent J Re-Imagine Faith No More’s ‘Epic’ with ‘Sweet Toof’
Eclectic hard rock band The Lucid, which features vocalist Vinnie Dombroski (Sponge), actor/guitarist Drew Fortier, bassist David Ellefson, and drummer/producer Mike Heller have once again joined forces with legendary underground rap icon Violent J (Insane Clown Posse) for a re-imagining of Faith No More’s “Epic” titled “Sweet Toof”.
“Sweet Toof” is the band’s fourth and final single from their upcoming E.P., Saddle Up and Ride, due out digitally January 27th from SpoilerHead Records. CD, Vinyl, and signed copies are available via Limited Edition pre-order bundles that will ship at a later date.
Violent J states,
“Man quit playin’! It’s been an absolute honor and a privilege working with The Lucid! Being included among such monster talented and unbelievably cool people has been easily one of the highlights of my career so far. That’s the absolute truth. Listen to it! Who the fuck can deny THE BEASTLY results? We KING KONG ’em!”
The Lucid guitarist Drew Fortier states,
“It has been such a fun, creative, and organic journey getting to this point with The Lucid. We are all very proud of what we have created together, especially with it being a completely independent endeavor.”
Fortier continues,
“We love the Faith No More guys and their body of work and knew the perfect way to cap off our E.P. was doing a re-imagining of ‘Epic’ along with Vinnie and Violent J’s twisted, and wonderful approach.”
From the ferocious vitriolic sonic assault of the title track, “Saddle Up and Ride”, to the epic off the wall and out of left field, “Sweet Toof”, Saddle Up and Ride showcases The Lucid feeding into their eccentric tastes spanning across Thrash, Country, Rap, Radio Rock, Metal, and Funk.
Violent J, one half of the legendary rap duo, Insane Clown Posse, is featured on the E.P.’s title track, “Saddle Up and Ride” as well as the album closer “Sweet Toof”. Violent J has a solo album titled Bloody Sunday due out in 2023.

UNEARTH Drops “The Wretched; The Ruinous” Single
UNEARTH Celebrates 25 Years of HEAVY Drops “The Wretched; The Ruinous” Single. Premiered Worldwide on Sirius XM Liquid Metal on 1/23.
“The Wretched; The Ruinous” premiered worldwide on Sirius XM Liquid Metal on 1/23.
UNEARTH’s new music was recorded, once again, with renowned Producer/Engineer Will Putney. UNEARTH Vocalist Trevor Phipps explains, “‘The Wretched; The Ruinous’ is a summation of our upcoming album as a whole musically and lyrically as it showcases the aggression, power, melody, energy and darkness that is full-throttle UNEARTH. Thematically this lead track puts the full blame on Mankind for the destruction of our planet, and the mass extinction of millions of species, as well as the eventual eradication of man due to our negligence with the climate crisis.
The first video for the new record was shot in one of our favorite places to tour on the planet, Tokyo, Japan. The raw energy from the crowd was captured by the talented Seidai Takekoshi and his additional cinematographers Seijito Nishimi and Ryo Minekawa whom all got into the crowd, in the pit and on stage to properly capture the power and emotion this song brings and we are excited to show you all the end result. See you on the road worldwide in 2023 and beyond.”
MOTÖRHEAD: NEW UNRELEASED TRACK “GREEDY BASTARDS”
NEW UNRELEASED TRACK “GREEDY BASTARDS” AND EXCLUSIVE VIDEO OUT NOW
BAD MAGIC: SERIOUSLY BAD MAGIC OUT ON
SILVER LINING MUSIC ON FEBRUARY 24th 2023
Motörhead, the iconic Godfathers of heavy metal, unleash a brand new video for the previously unreleased track “Greedy Bastards”, taken from the upcoming release Bad Magic: SERIOUSLY BAD MAGIC.
“Greedy Bastards” is the second rare gem found in the recording session vaults for the 23rd (and final) studio album, Bad Magic in 2015. Instantly hailed as one of the best albums the beloved trio had recorded in many years, Bad Magic: SERIOUSLY BAD MAGIC is the ultimate bumper reissue, including the only recently released stomper “Bullet In Your Brain”, as well as a snarling, fangs-out live performance from the Bad Magic tour at the giant Mt Fuji Festival in Japan in 2015.
Fans will also get “War, Love, Death and Injustice”, an audio interview with Lemmy conducted by Motörhead expert Robert Kiewik during the tour, and should the desire to have a chat with Lem or anyone beyond this mortal coil arise, the box-set will exclusively contain a MURDER ONE ouija board (complete with the Ace of Spades planchette to spell out the conversation).
Kicking-off with a raw spoken word intro from Lemmy, “Greedy Bastards” profound message is as relevant today as ever, whilst delivered with the classic Motörhead rip-roaring, swagger.
“Another beauty from the Bad Magic sessions” comments guitarist Phil Campbell, “with Lem’s lyrics hitting our times bang on the head.”
Bad Magic, released in 2015, produced by Cameron Webb and recorded live at NRG North Hollywood, Maple Studios and Grandmaster in California, unfurled into Motörhead’s toughest, leanest, meanest and most uncompromising album in aeons. Phil Campbell didn’t just record possibly his finest guitars, he threw down most certainly his best solos for decades, while Mikkey Dee’s drumming found new tribal resonance with the Motörhead sound he had helped nurture. From big-rig head crushers such as “Thunder & Lightning” and “Teach Them How To Bleed”, the crackling punk energy of “Electricity” to Brian May of Queen’s scintillating guest-appearance on “The Devil”, Bad Magic delivered the goods them some. There was also one of Lemmy‘s rawest lyrical life reflections on “Till The End”, and a cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy For The Devil”. One of the hidden gold-dust additions to Bad Magic: SERIOUSLY BAD MAGIC, is Motörhead’s famous, and internationally acclaimed, version of David Bowie’s classic “Heroes”. It was a cover version which Lemmy had a great affection for, and as such its inclusion here is both fitting and just.
Bad Magic: SERIOUSLY BAD MAGIC will be released on Double 12” Vinyl, CD Digipak with Bonus Disc, Limited Edition Boxset, Digital Download and Streaming. The Limited Edition Boxset will contain the CD Digipak with Bonus Disc, Double 12” Vinyl, exclusive Lemmy War, Love, Death and Injustice audio interview on 12” vinyl and exclusive edition Motörhead – MURDER ONE Ouija Board and Planchette.
