A Super Happy Fun Chat with Singer-Songwriter Bryan Bielanski
Bryan Talks Music, Tour, and Bryan’s Super Happy Fun Time II
There’s definitely one thing that Charlotte-based singer-songwriter Bryan Bielanski has in droves and that is positivity. With upbeat, catchy tunes that are full of killer hooks and his pragmatic personality, Bryan is ready to take on whatever adventure life throws at him with a smile on his face and a song in his heart. Sound corny? Perhaps, but it’s totally true.
His music has been described as a cross between the Beatles and Nirvana with songs that run the gamut from exuberant, pop tunes to edgy rockers. From the danceable beats of “Elf Girlfriend” to the sing-along feel of “Live The Dream,” Bryan’s songs are terrific examples of what a great pop song should be. His latest effort Bryan’s Super Happy Fun Time II couldn’t be more perfectly named because it is a joy to listen to. Not only does the record showcase his songwriting and singing abilities, but also his musicianship with Beilanski tackling guitar, bass, harmonica, and even drums on most of the tracks. There are a few twists and surprises thrown into the mix as well with my favorite tune off the album “Kid Off The Grid” inspired by Bryan’s time camping in the great outdoors at the onset of the COVID lockdowns and an almost 20-minute musical journey with “Beyond Infinity.”
Bryan is also a true road dog, relentlessly touring and bringing a super, happy, fun time to the masses. He will be heading back home to the Charlotte area later this week with a special New Year’s Eve show at Sammy’s Neighborhood Bar in Pineville, NC. With a live set that is sure to be full of energy, it’s bound to be a one-of-a-kind evening.
